About the Tour
You are invited to come to tour our facility and explore how the Maintenance & Engineering division supports the Alaska Airlines Operation. The tour will last approximately 1 1/2 hours; you will tour the shops and the hangar facility. When available you will also get an "up-close" look at one of our aircraft.
Here is what other tour attendees are saying:
"It is interesting to see other pieces of ASA, the challenges they face and the people who work there. It helps me to see the 'big picture'."
"I was able to see the aircraft up close and even sit in the flightdeck. I have never been that close to a plane."
About our Shops, "I didn't know they did such diversified work "in-house."

Technicians Can Earn Certificates in Composites at Edmonds CC
Edmonds Community College will offer a Work Ready Certificate in Materials Science, starting winter quarter, 2007. In this program, students learn basic material properties, advantages of using composites, and manufacturing processes. The courses will also emphasize hands-on learning.
